This little guy has officially been in the world for one month and we've loved having him as part of our family. It's definitely been a different experience the second time around, but still just as sweet. There is something special about having a newborn in your home - maybe because they are so fresh from heaven.
Here is what the last month has been like for Cam:
- Can hold his head up almost on his own.
- Eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
- He is a pro at nursing, which is a huge blessing!
- Has had some tummy problems that make night time rough.
- Falls asleep between 10 and 11 pm and only wakes up once or twice at night.
- Smiles occasionally, especially when his chin is tickled.
- Has been to church 2 times.
- Gets the hiccups often.
- Toots constantly! Such a boy...
- Weight: 7.5 lbs {26%tile) @ 2 week check-up
- Height: 21 in {58%tile} @ 2 week check-up
- Hates baths, but loves showers.
- Looks exactly like daddy.
The biggest accomplishment thus far {for me} has been nursing. We've made it 4 weeks and with Sadee we only made it about 2 weeks. I'm not sure what my goal is, but we've stuck with it so far and it's been both wonderful and horrible. Every day I find myself thinking how much I love being able to spend quality time with him, but every day I also find myself wanting to give up and quit. One day at a time, right?
Happy one month Baby Cam! We love you.
